2 killed in Pleasant Grove crash Sunday morning

DALLAS – Dallas Police were called to a crash at N Masters Dr. and Elam Rd. in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Dallas early Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. and involved a box truck and a red Chevy Corvette.
Investigators say the Corvette was traveling east on Elam when it ran a red light and hit the left passenger side of the box truck.
The Corvette continued under the truck, hit a power pole and ended up along the tree line.
Police say two people in the red sports car were killed in the crash.
The names of the people in the Corvette have not been released.
The driver of the box truck stopped and remained at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
